jakubkocman.cz is the website of Jakub Kocman, an electrician who trades as KM-Elektro and works out of Hoštka, near Litoměřice. Its line is “Elektroinstalace rodinných domů a bytů na Litoměřicko” — wiring for houses and flats in that region.

Built and shipped through Bruncsoft , the studio I founded and run. The footer of the site says so: Vyrobeno studiem Bruncsoft.

What is on it

One page a visitor can read top to bottom, with the menu jumping between sections rather than loading new pages: who he is, the work he does, where he has done it, the book on local history he co-wrote, reviews, how far he will travel, and how to reach him. The photo gallery of finished jobs is the one thing on its own page — there are over a hundred pictures, and they do not belong in the middle of a page somebody is reading on a phone.

How it was built

An electrician does not need a login, a shopping basket or a database. He needs to be found, to look like someone worth ringing, and to be reachable — so there is no contact form, just his phone number and email where a visitor is most likely to want them. That keeps the site static, and a static site is fast, cheap to host and has nothing on it that can break.

It was built with AI, from scratch rather than from a template — no page builder and no platform underneath, so it can still be changed a year from now. And it reads properly on a phone, which is where most people looking for an electrician actually are.
